The Grand Bahama Chamber of Commerce Business Development Committe met with the Minister for Grand Bahama, Dr Michael Darville, Thursday for a discussion on economic development in Grand Bahama. During the meeting, the GBCC executives expressed its members’ views on a range of matters affecting the business community, including Value Added Tax (VAT), government business licencing and the new online application for such licence. In exchange, Minister Darville provided updates on various projects that are underway on the island. The meeting with the Ministry for Grand Bahama was a first for the GBCC, but executives are already planning to reconvene with the Minister for additional talks. (Photo: Keen i Media Ltd).
