On Friday, June 28th, 2024, at the Grand Lucayan Convention Center, The Grand Bahama Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with The Grand Bahama Port Authority, Limited, Invest Grand Bahama Small Business Bureau (IGBSBB), The Grand Bahama Shipyard Limited and The Grand Bahama Power Company, hosted a Disaster Readiness & Business Continuity Workshop.
The purpose of this workshop was to prepare the Grand Bahama business community on the importance of implementing a robust business continuity and disaster recovery plan for the for the 2024 Hurricane Season.
Attendees were able to hear from industry professionals who shared critical tips, tools, and strategies to help develop and enhance their readiness plans. Panel discussions featured key stakeholders in disaster preparation and recovery processes.
Attendees were engaged and were able to participate in this informative workshop.
