On Saturday, March 23rd, 2024, during the Annual Installation Banquet, the Grand Bahama Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors paid tribute to women in leadership for their lifelong commitment in community affairs, education, sports and business.
The following women were recognized during the event:
Mrs. Geneva Rutherford, Leadership & Lifelong Contribution in Community Affairs (In her absence, GBCC Executive Director, Mercynth Ferguson, received her award)
Dr. Coralee Kelly, Leadership & Lifelong Contributions in Education
Mrs. Anita Doherty (posthumously) Lifelong Contributions in Sports (received by her son John and his wife Tara Doherty)
Ms. Sarah St. George, Leadership & Lifelong Contributions in Business
